-CM Farms Spring Festivals and Fall Corn Maze are located just a little north of Dry Creek, Louisiana. It’s a short country drive from Lake Charles and Alexandria. We have pumpkins for sale in the shop or farm stand, cow train / barrel train rides, corn maze, haunted corn maze, kiddie (mini) corn maze, pig races, goat walk, tractor-pulled hay rides, gift shop, concessions / refreshment stand, restrooms, inflatables/bounce house, jumping pillow, farm animals, birthday parties, weddings and wedding parties, school tours, group reservations

-Crooked Pines Farm – pumpkins, pumpkin patch-pick in the field, pumpkin patch- already gathered from the field, 
Hwy 190, Ragley, LA 70657. Phone: 337-725-4223. Open: October 1 to 31, on Saturdays, from 8:30am to 4 pm (depending on weather); and we may open more week days – call! Directions: Hwy 190 located 1.5 miles from Hwy 171 going east next to Ragley U.S. Post Office (east side). 

– Harvest Pumpkin Patch: Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sundays from 2-5:30 p.m. at First United Pentecostal Church, located at 120 Mahlon St. in DeRidder. For more information, call the church at 337-463-7637.

Calcasieu Parish
– Moss Bluff United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch – pumpkins
735 Sam Houston Jones Parkway, Moss Bluff, LA 70611. Phone: 337-855-6241. Open:  October 10 through October 31, 2010; Patch hours are weekdays from 3 pm to 6:30 pm; Saturday from 9 am to 6:30 pm and Sunday from noon to 6:30 pm. Proceeds from this year’s patch will go to the SWLA Methodist Children’s Home. Large variety of sizes shapes and prices of pumpkins for sale, along with gourds and Indian corn. Our patch is decorated for the perfect fall photo opportunities and the public is encouraged to bring their cameras. Opening Day activities will include “Howdy” the clown, jolly jumpers, face painting, music, a bake sale & for a nominal fee Natchitoches meat pies, hot links, popcorn & soft drinks.  All proceeds from pumpkin sales go to various local missions. St. Luke Simpson Methodist Church – pumpkin patch on the church lawn. 1500 Country Club Road, Lake Charles, LA 70605. Phone: 337-474-1500. Open: Monday thru Saturday from 10:30AM to 6:00PM, and on Sunday from 11:00 to 4:00PM. In addition to selling pumpkins of all sizes, color, and variety, we offer decorative hay bales. – The Lost Hollows: Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1 in Lake Charles. Trail rides typically start at 6 p.m. and end around 11:30 p.m. Participants will gather in the parking lot of Spirit of Halloween, located at 3413 Derek Drive, where they will be shuttled to the trails. -“Bludd Vessel” Haunted Ship: 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1 at the U.S.S. Orleck Naval Museum, located at 604 N. Enterprise Blvd in Lake Charles. Tickets start at $15. For more information, call 337-214-7447 or email info@orleck.org.

-Trunk-or-treat and fall festival: 5-7 p.m. Oct. 31 at Word of Hope Family Worship Center, located at 3975 E. Prien Lake Road in Lake Charles. There will be food, games and prizes. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 337-477-1943.

-“Macabaret”: 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 and 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Lake Charles Little Theatre, located at 813 Enterprise Blvd. Dracula, Igor, the Bride of Frankenstein and other Halloween ghouls will perform songs and dances with a “macabre” twist. -Hargrove Haunted House: Starting at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at 1022 Fields Hwy near DeQuincy. Participants are asked to make a $3 donation at the door. For more information, visithttps://www.facebook.com/hargroves.hauntedhouse.

-Halloween Chalk Drawings: 3:30-4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 at the Children’s Museum, located at 327 Broad St. in Lake Charles. Admission is $7.50 for children and adults. Participants will create ghoulish drawings in the ArtSpace.

-Halloween Harvest Fest 2014: 5-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 at the Lake Charles Civic Center, located at 900 Lakeshore Drive. The Exhibition Hall will be reserved for Tiny Tots World, open to children ages 2-6, while the Coliseum will house activities for children ages 7-12, including games, music, a costume contest, face painting, balloon art, tricycle races and a pumpkin patch train ride, featuring Mayor Randy Roach and Parks Director Percy Brown as conductors. -30th Annual Gumbo Cook-off and Fall Festival: 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 at Friendship Baptist Church, located at 8085 Gulf Hwy in Lake Charles. -Trick-or-treat: The City of Lake Charles recommends that trick-or-treat activities end at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31. Parents are encouraged to have their children home by 8:30 p.m., unless they are attending a supervised function sponsored by other parents of civic organizations.

-Trick-or-treat: The official trick-or-treating times for the Town of Westlake are 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1.

-Trick-or-treat: Trick-or-treating will be held from 5-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 in the Hargroves area.

-Malloween: 5:30-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 at the Prien Lake Mall, located at 496 W. Prien Lake Road in Lake Charles. Admission is free. Children are welcome to trick-or-treat at participating businesses in the mall. 

-Party with the Princesses: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at Barbe High School, located at 2200 W. McNeese St., Lake Charles. Admission is $15 per child.
