ESPN shuffles games to put LSU on main channel

ESPN shuffles games to put LSU on main channel against South Carolina , giving LSU its prime spot at 2:30 pm, while pushing some games to lesser-seen channels. Other games, including Tulane’s game at Temple, actually got bumped to more prime viewing channels.

The LSU – So. Carolina game was originally scheduled for an 11 am slot on ESPN, and the network, no doubt, did not want to lose its chance to showcase Heisman favorite Leonard Fournette.

The biggest casualty was the Minnesota at Purdue game, originally slated for the main ESPN channel. That game will now be seen on ESPNU.

Tulane and Temple, and 11 a.m. kickoff Saturday, was bumped up from ESPNews to ESPNU.

A media release from Tulane claims that six games were shuffled around
